Annette has a Master’s Degree in Human Nutrition as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development, both from the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. Both of these degrees have been helpful with working with the pediatric population. She has 35 years of experience as a pediatric dietitian at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Positions held during this tenure include (past) Nutrition Educator for the Perinatal Outreach Education Program providing education to health care professionals throughout Ohio on nutrition needs for the premature infant (1985 through 2013). Presently, she is functioning as a Clinical Dietitian in the Neonatal Follow-up Clinics (2003 through 2020). Her pertinent past position as Nutrition Coordinator at the Nisonger Center (an interdisciplinary training University Affiliated Facility) at the Ohio State University involved working with infants and children with developmental disabilities. This position included training graduate students to work with the pediatric population with developmental disabilities. All of these positions have contributed to Annette’s knowledge base in this arena.
