Elizabeth Gargaro, MD earned her medical degree at University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She completed her Triple Board Residency (Pediatrics/Psychiatry/Child & Adolescent Psychiatry) at the University of Utah. In her final year, she served as Chief Resident and coordinated the Triple Board/Post-Pediatric Portal Program Summit, a national conference for Triple Board and PPPP trainees and alumni.

Dr. Gargaro was drawn to Triple Board by its emphasis on the intersection between physicaland mental health. During training, she sought opportunities to hone her skills providingmental health care in a primary care setting, consulting with primary care providers, and navigating complex systems/diagnoses. Her clinical interests include collaborative care, medical education, systems-based practice, the impact of childhood trauma, and eating disorders. Board certified in pediatrics, psychiatry, and child & adolescent psychiatry, Dr. Gargaro is delighted to be a member of the clinical faculty at the University of Utah Huntsman Mental Health Institute where she works at the interface between physical and mental healthcare.
