Provides a 24/7 reporting hotline (phone, text, live chat, email), information, and confidential referral to social and legal services for victims and survivors of human trafficking. The Hotline also receives tips about potential situations of sex and labor trafficking and facilitates reporting that information to the appropriate authorities in certain cases. The Hotline is operated by Polaris, a non-profit, non-governmental organization working exclusively on the issue of human trafficking. The Trafficking Hotline is not a government entity, law enforcement, or an immigration authority.

Homeless or at-risk youth (21 and under), parents who are struggling with their child, and concerned adults who work with children such as teachers, law enforcement personnel, agency staff, siblings, and other relatives.

Created and operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline in partnership with more than 1,000 local sexual assault service providers across the country.

Provides support for sexual assault victims and their loved ones through a 24/7 hotline and website.

Hotline for kids, teens, and young adults who are depressed, contemplating suicide, being physically or sexually abused, are on the run, addicted, threatened by gang violence, fighting with a friend or parent, or those who are facing overwhelming challenges.

ADWAS & hotline advocates offer many ways to support callers as we can:

• listen and provide emotional support

Advocates can also work with Deaf and hearing friends and family members of Deaf survivors. Helpers can call us to learn more about intervention strategies and how to support survivors.

ADWAS also gives hearing domestic violence and sexual assault programs and shelters cultural training, support, education, and technical assistance to improve their accessibility for Deaf survivors. The Disaster Distress Helpline is staffed by trained counselors from a network of crisis call centers located across the United States. These counselors provide crisis counseling for people in emotional distress related to any natural or human-caused disaster, information on how to recognize distress and its effects on individuals and families, tips for healthy coping, and referrals to local crisis call centers for additional follow-up care and support. The Disaster Distress Helpline puts people in need of counseling on the path to recovery. Our staff members provide counseling and support before, during, and after disasters. Since its launch in February 2012, the Disaster Distress Helpline has provided counseling and support in response to disasters such as Hurricane Sandy, the Boston Marathon bombing, the Ebola outbreak, and the Coronavirus pandemic. Text "TalkWithUs" TO 66746 (Spanish-speakers can text 'Hablanos' to 66746); available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

YouthLine is a free 24-hour teen-to-teen youth crisis and support service provided by Lines for Life (a non-profit that works to prevent substance abuse and suicide). YouthLine operates a national helpline that provides crisis support and referrals via call, text, and chat. The YouthLine is answered by teen volunteers daily from 4pm-10pm PST (and by adults at all other times). Translation services are available upon request. YouthLine also operates a peer-supported outreach program to destigmatize mental health challenges, increase awareness for mental health and wellness, and encourage youth to reach out for help.
