Eligibility: Low income youth, one other defined barrier in addition to low income. Client must be within established income guidelines. Eligibility determined from the last 6 mo income at the time of application. Must be at least 14 and not have reached 25th birthday.
Services Provided: Provides general job search support to low-income youths, ages 14-24, with long term employment objectives. The program focuses on Out of School youth age 16-24, with limited slots for In School youth age 14-21. Program includes support, work experience & internships, career exploration, counseling and tutoring. Youth Career Center open to any youth doing job search or career exploration.
