Eligibility: NBICU graduates - generally those born less than 33 weeks gestation or with developmental concerns referred by the NBICU. Other children born with high risk conditions may be referred by their doctors.
Services Provided: The Billings HRIF Clinic serves children at high risk of developmental delays, generally NBICU graduates referred by the NBICU. We screen for developmental problems and offer parents and caregivers information on resources to support and promote their child's development. The children are seen between 4 and 30 months of age (adjusted for prematurity) by a team comprised of a pediatric speech therapist, occupational therapist, physical therapist, Developmental Pediatrician, family support specialist from ECI or STEP and social worker. Nutritionist is consulted if appropriate.
