Biosketch:

Dr. Ben Moresco received his medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine, in Seattle, Washington as part of the WWAMI program, a multi-state medical education program serving Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana and Idaho. He completed his Pediatric residency followed by chief residency at the Children’s Hospital of San Antonio/Baylor College of Medicine as part of the inaugural residency class in San Antonio, Texas. He then completed his fellowship in Pediatric Hospice and Palliative Care in Boston, Massachusetts at the Harvard Interprofessional Fellowship Program/Massachusetts General Hospital working clinically with children cared for at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, and Boston Children’s Hospital. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Utah in the Division of Pediatric Palliative Care and serves as the medical director of Rainbow Kids Pediatric Palliative Care at Primary Children's Hospital.

Dr. Moresco’s clinical interests include comprehensive care for children with medical complexity, bereavement, telehealth, rural medicine, and complex pain/symptom management for children with serious illness. Dr. Moresco enjoys being outdoors in nature spending time with his dogs, hiking, and skiing.
