Services Provided: Sense-Ability, Inc. is a non-profit organization created to better serve those in our community with Neurodevelopmental Disorders, with our main focus at this time on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Our goal is to provide opportunities to those individuals with ASD to develop skills for everyday living that will result in a richer, more fulfilling life. In addition to traditional therapies, we offer life skills classes and Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy (EFP). Life Skills classes teach clients about self-care, personal finances, nutrition, meal preparation, and interpersonal communication. Research in EFP has shown positive results for children with ASD in improved directed attention, sensory integration, self-regulation and self-esteem.

Our therapists utilize the philosophy of the American Institute of Sensory Ladder Education. This is a neuro-psychologically based multi-sensory teaching and therapeutic technique. This is a key to children having success in a life of happiness.
