Neighbors in Need provides emergency financial assistance. The Kalispell Ministerial Association developed Neighbors in Need, a fund of last resort that is supported by the area churches, individual contributors and grants that focus on homelessness and meeting then needs of those who may fall through the cracks of other social service programs. One-time emergency services include sleeping bags and tents, utility bills, car repair and gasoline vouchers, food vouchers.

All are welcome to apply, eligibility is income based.

Opportunities, Inc. provides assistance to low-income individuals and families in emergency situations. These services include help with rent, deposits, utility payments, medical, dental, prescriptions, emergency temporary shelter, food, clothing, household goods, furniture, transportation and more.

Registration and application required. Open to US and Canada residents ages 18 and older.

Provides small emergency grants to low-income workers. Offers three main types of grants: Self Sufficiency Grants, Back-to-Work Grants and Independent Living Grants.
