Services Provided: The certified lactation consultants at KRMC provide nursing moms with breastfeeding support and education. We provide up-to-date information with a caring, personal approach to help women gain confidence and learn what to expect when they breastfeed. Our lactation consultants encourage the involvement of family members and friends who can help support breastfeeding. Services include prenatal breastfeeding classes, breast pumps and supplies, professional education in breastfeeding and lactation, and a weekly breastfeeding support group.

Eligibility: Open. The Bridges program is for young unmarried mothers with unplanned pregnancies with a support group that meets the first and third Tuesday of each month. Baby sitting for the group is provided upon request.
